There are a few simple steps to creating a recipe page which will be explained in a little more detail below, but here is a brief summary of what you need to do. Select the category where you want to include your recipe and create a new page with the name of your recipe and then that page is saved. This adds a new recipe page to the list in that category. Once the page is saved, you enter the category and click on your recipe page. This opens a blank page to which you add your ingredients and instructions. To do this, click on the EDIT tab at the top of the page and then you can enter your data. The page set up is best accomplished by using Copy and Paste from a format below provided for your convenience. Once finished, simply click "Save Page" and your recipe has now been added to our database for others to enjoy.

Okay! Let's get started!

1. Create the page where your recipe will be entered by following these steps:

1.1 Go to your recipe category, eg. Desserts

1.2 Click on “Edit”

1.3 Double space below the last recipe on the list and add your recipe title enclosed in double brackets.

1.4 Add the title of your recipe, eg My Recipe to the list, as [[My Recipe]] and the edit page should look like the following

[[Sherm's Bingeing Brownies]]

[[Sherm's Megamuffins]]

[[Better Chocolate Pudding]

[[Sweetpotato Pudding]]

[[My Recipe]]

1.5 Scroll to the bottom of the page and you can preview the page before saving it. If you are satisfied that it is done correctly, click on “save page”.

1.6 Now let's add the recipe information by editing your new page.

2. Edit your recipe: Return to the recipe category where you added your page and click on your recipe. So now you have an empty page.

2.1 Copy the "code" below (inside the gray block) and Paste it to your recipe page.

2.2 Adapt it to your recipe by filling in the ingredients, etc. Add more numbers for additional ingredients if needed or delete the extra numbers not needed. The same applies for the Instructions.

2.3 Use your diet software to determine the nutrient quantities if you know how, or leave them as zeros and someone else may have the time to fill in that information.

note: Look further below the gray block on this page to see what the recipe page set up will look like after you finish adding to your recipe page. At any time, you can scroll to the bottom of your edit page and preview the work you have done and you can continue working on your recipe in the window at the bottom of the preview page.

2.4 Be sure to "Save page" by scrolling to the very bottom before closing the edit page or all your work will vanish leaving only a blank recipe page with the title of your recipe on it.
