Hunger, according to Webster's, is an "uneasy sensation sensation occasioned by a lack of food" or "a craving or urgent need for food or a specific nutrient."
Hunger can be divided into various aspects:
- The feeling of an empty stomach.
- The feeling one gets from having low blood sugar.
- Cravings for food.
