Q: "I want to upload an image for my recipe. How do I do that?"

A:

1. Click on "Upload file" to the left (under toolbox), and follow the instructions for uploading the image. (Don't worry about what subdirectory it ends up in on the wiki; it doesn't matter. See next.)

2. Go to the edit box for your recipe (or any other page), and type in [[Image:Megamuffins.jpg]] (if the image is called "Megamuffins.jpg") where you want the image to appear.

Q: "I don't have time to add the fancy nutritional info, upload a picture, etc. Can I still add my recipe?"

A: Of course! Someone else can add a picture and/or the nutritional info later, or it can be left as is.

Q: "For a foreigner like me (I live in Spain) it would be nice if each ingredient cited in each recipe is a link to the corresponding page of the Wikipedia in english; then, when an ingredient appears which you do not understand (or understand the meaning but need the name in another language so as to ask for it in a shop or market) one could click, see the picture of it in the english Wikipedia, and access to the Wikipedia in the language of the country you are in (e.g. spanish for me) and see the translation you need. The same could also be used with cooking technical terms. I mean, I know english pretty well since 40 years ago, I have no difficulty in speaking or in reading an english book, however I do not know simple cooking technical terms. An example is e.g. the verb "to soak", right now I do not remeber its meaning, in a recipee speaking about "soaking something" I would have to look up in the dictionary for this word. Again, if by clicking in the word "soaking" in the recipe I had instant access to the english wiki page explaining its meaning, then probably I would not even need to check for its translation (but I could do it also, if needed, very easily, in the lower left part of the wiki page, giving access to the same word in other languages)."
