Lifetime-calories theory

Assertion: Organisms age in proportion to the amount of total energy that they metabolize

Supporting evidence

• On average, organisms die at the same level of calories consumed per kilogram of body weight<ref>Reference for first supporting point</ref>
• The theory makes a lot of sense, based on the arguments made by so-and-so<ref>Reference for second supporting point</ref>

Refuting evidence
