Current CR Research

Research into CR is proceeding on several fronts. The research can be broken down into several broad categories. The categories of course overlap somewhat, but for purposes of explaining CR research it's useful to divide the research into the follow three groups: 1) attempts to elucidate at the genetic level the general effects of CR on animals; 2) attempts to understand the effects of CR on humans and other primates; and 3) miscellaneous research into other aspects of CR in rodents and other non-primate laboratory animals.
