What we so far all agree should be on the CR Society's Longevity Wiki
- informal information (unformatted, uncomposed, etc.)
- original ideas, theories
- personal information
- data collection
- scientific results
- CR humor
- etc.
[edit]
What some people think should be on Wikipedia, and possibly also here, and possibly also on other wikis (such as wikinfo.org)
- specific, well-formatted and referenced, encyclopedic information regarding biology
[edit]
Debatable
- specific, well-formatted and referenced, encyclopedic information regarding longevity
- specific, well-formatted and referenced, encyclopedic information regarding calorie restriction
[edit]
Arguments for putting this on Wikipedia
- It's likely that, at least at first, if not for a long time, far more people will be able to view the information, and contribute to improving the information.
- Resistance is futile! So why are we even talking about this? (Joking Department)
[edit]
Arguments for putting this on the CR Society's Longevity Wiki
- It helps the CR Society in a number of ways:
- Builds community
- Generates interest in the CR Society
- We can more easily guarantee the information's validity.
- We can avoid some of the time that gets wasted on Wikipedia because of the anarchic nature of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
- We prove resistance is not futile! (Joking Department)
