Ingredients
Makes 6 servings.
- 6 apples, medium
- ½ cup applesauce, unsweetened
- ¾ cup oats, rolled or oatmeal
- 1 oz dry measure wheat germ
- 1 tsp cinnamon, ground
- 3 Tbsp Splenda
- 1 Tbsp oil, vegetable (your choice)
- 1 Tbsp molasses, blackstrap

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Core and thinly slice apples, leaving skin on.
- Mix applesauce and apple slices until evenly coated.
- Place apple mixture in a 12"-by-8" baking dish.
- Mix dry ingredients in bowl until Splenda is evenly distributed.
- Drizzle in oil and molasses and mix until evenly absorbed.
- Sprinkle mixture over apples.
- Bake 30 minutes in 350°F oven.
- Cut into 8 sections, and serve warm.
